Maintenance Technician (Hotel Experience)

Key Responsibilities: 

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, providing effective solutions and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to forecast maintenance needs and plan budget accordingly.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and update logs as required.
- Assist in managing contractors and outside vendors for specialized repairs and projects.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and report any deficits or damages.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex maintenance issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance management software and reports.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in HVAC, electrical work, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with building automation systems and safety regulations.
